Great location in the middle of the city. Lot of choices at the breakfast.

The hotel looks like it has its best years behind it. Windows in the rooms can't be opened. The tour provided by the hotel was quite expensive and the guide from the hotel was difficult to understand.

Loved the staff, location and the cleanliness of the room

There is a nightclub across the river which was meant to have stopped at 10- reception staff have told us when we were checking out we should have let them know about the noise after 10 and they would have stopped it for us.

The hotel was a central location to Ninh Binh and the tam coc area, lovely hotel and restaurant. Friendly staff

Nothing to not like

Nice resort in excellent location on riverside and quiet, but also close to centre of Tam Coc. Our room was very large & spacious with beautiful riverside views. Plenty of room for packing & unpacking suitcases. Large, lovely bathroom with bath tub and shower. Staff helpful & pleasant.

Food in restaurant was adequate but not the best for us - other equivalent hotels in Vietnam have offered better quality & choice for our taste, both at breakfast & in evenings. Evening meals expensive for what they were,

The Beds were extremely small

Location is great, staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are very nice and in good condition.NOTE: There are two Emeralda resorts in the area. If you have a driver, make sure to tell them Emeralda Tam Coc, NOT Ninh Binh.

There was a sewage smell in the bathroom after using the shower. It went away after 5-10 minutes but it was pretty strong.Breakfast was not that great compared to other higher-end hotels. Selection was good, but the quality ands taste was just fair. Compared to other hotels, the amount of staff (in the dining room) was perhaps a little low.

We got a free upgrade. The room was very large and had a great view. The staff were very helpfull.

Well located

The food quality was very bad. I have never had such a horrible and tasteless breakfast in my life.The staff were nice but not very helpful. We asked for a taxi, and 25 minutes later, when we asked for an update, they realized they had forgotten to call the driver.Similarly, when we asked for information about the services they offered (bicycles, etc.), we felt they were not really happy to assist and share information.

The resort is a little tired and could benefit from a renovation. It was clean . Our room was spacious and it is well located to explore Ninh Binh .

The unprofessional staff in the spa

Great personnel, swimming pool and spa. Large variety of food for breakfast and very nice spa facilities. Comfortable bed and massive room and bathroom. Nice guide for activities.

Poor room isolation, noise from adjacent rooms. Street access needs improvement.

Stunning property. Walking distance from the main street but quiet and serene. Nice bar and breakfast.

Beautiful views and located in the heart of Tam Coc but set back on its own island. 2-3 mins walk from restaurants and shops. Rooms are stunning and spacious with unobstructed views of the river and mountains. Excellent breakfast. Heated pool. Attentive staff. And they arranged our trips and cars for us even at very short notice. Special thanks to Sau for taking us on a day tour and looking after us. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location on a little island. Very nice property, comfy beds, spacious clean rooms, big pool. Booked a private tour and got Sau Dang as my guide. We spend a wonderful day, he made great choices about where and when to go and organized everything meticulously. Thank you!

The terrace of the room could get an upgrade. Glaas was dirty, no place where you like to stay. The pool was almost to warm. And there was a lot of noise till late night from the backpacker party scene on the opposite side of the lake.

Location and the hotel grounds are amazing. Room size, comfortable bed, good bathroom and shower. Air con effective and view from room lovely. Pool nice clean and warm.

Some noise from people around the site and across the water, not the best soundproofing. I thought breakfast wasn't great, some pastries dry and little flies on the fruit. Some staff were lovely and helped us out with breakfast though. It was mainly geared to the Asian tastes which while lovely is nor really for western tastes everyday.

Location was great and views from hotel were stunning. Facilities were great - pool wonderful. Great with our food allergies at breakfast.

The area generally is quite noisy but that's not the hotel fault.
